Back home in South Lyon

Took the train back to Pittsburgh and traveled by car to South Lyon, MI. Good to be home - even though it is very cold in the teens. See you later. Look for an upcoming blog about Reese's and Renee's trip to Los Cruces, NM.  

Morrisville, PA

Morrisville, PA started out as a trading post of the Dutch India company. Early on it was known Crewcorne and was part of Falls Township. It later became a ferry crossing and was incorporated and became named Morrisville after Robert Morris. Day 3 - Train Trip

Today we took the Amtrak Pennsylvanian train from Pittsburgh to Trenton, N.J. We sat in business class and it was very relaxing and fun. Unlimited beverages. Amtrak Pennsylvanian On the train.  Day 2 - Pittsburgh Today is a cloudy day with snow flurries, but I am ready to explore Pittsburgh. I am wearing my penguin shirt in honor of the Pittsburgh Penguins hockey team. This town is also huge Pittsburgh Steeler football fans. Pittsburgh Penguins Pittsburgh Steelers Today we visited the "Strip District" of Pittsburgh. Day One in Pittsburgh

Headed out from South Lyon, Michigan today. It was 19 degrees today - brrrr! It is a little over four hours by car to Pittsburgh. Made it to Pittsburgh, PA. This is the view from our motel in downtown Pittsburgh. Did you know that Pittsburgh is famous for Heinz products.
